Spring/Summer 2013 Must Haves

Tops:
-Off the shoulder tops: Highlight the shoulders and flatter any body type.
-Crop tops: Get them short sleeve, long sleeve, sleeveless. In all colors in prints. At least one in black or white.
-Denim vests: Great to pair over dresses or rompers. Also a lovely piece to wear over solid color jackets as a layering piece for colder nights
-Bustier or bralette: A cute way to not reveal too much when you're wearing loose fitting tank tops or dresses. Or, you can be daring and wear it as a top with a good pair of high waisted shorts.
-Cropped Sleeveless turtlenecks: Literally everywhere and available at all prices. Totally 90's and easy to style.
-Denim jacket: No explanation needed. A classic
-Camo jacket: Has been a trend for a minute now and will still be prevalent this spring season

Bottoms:
-High waisted shorts: A must!!! Have at least one denim pair and one black pair
-Maxi skirts: Everyone should own one by now. Popular styles this spring include: Sheer ones, pleated ones, and ones with slits on both slides or one side of the skirt.
-Skater skirt or an A-line skirt: Both are very in this season and look great with bodycon crop tops or cropped sleeveless turtle necks.

Dresses & onesies:
-Overalls: Leather are becoming quite popular. Denim are also in-style and look great with off the shoulder tops or other bodycon tops
-The perfect sundress: For those days you want to look cute and not have to put in too much effort
-Mod-style mini dress: A cute leg-baring dress, reminiscent of the 60's
-Light Romper: Also great for days you want to look cute and not put in a ton of effort. I like to get neutral colored ones so I can pair printed tops over them if I want to.

Accessories:
-Holographic pieces: Very popular in bags or shoes
-Clear/Transparent bags: Blowing up this spring! You can get one with metallic or colorful accents in the piping or on the straps
-Knapsack: Not only great for school, they are also trendy for spring/summer and are better for your back than a heavy purse!
-Cut-Out ankle boots: Get them with cut outs on the ankles, the sides, all over! I prefer the black leather ones with a chunky 90's heel.
-Metallic Plated Sandals: Can be cute paired with anything and look very sleek and edgy.
